In April 2021 our world changed forever as we sadly lost a wonderful husband and father to cancer. Dave had a short but cruel battle with cancer. If he was here with us now he would say "We must be bloody mad". So in honour of the endless love we have for him we will ensure we go out and smash it!! We truly appreciate all your support.

We want to raise money for Macmillan as our Macmillan Nurse Sarah was a huge support in what can only be described as the worst time of our life. We want to be able to help provide the same outstanding care for other families going through the awful situation we found ourselves In.

In July 2025, my daughter and I have challenged ourselves to take on the Peak District Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

We would be so grateful if you could help us reach our £500 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for two days. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
