DofE Presentation 2025
On Friday 3rd October High Grange School held a celebration event for Duke of Edinburgh awards. Students were presented with various different awards of what they have achieved over the last eighteen months. This included section awards where students have achieved an activity section such as volunteering, skills and physical. Four students were presented with section awards at both Bronze and Silver level. Students were also presented with certificate of achievement where they have completed three out of the four sections. Three students at Bronze level and one student at Silver level were presented with a certificate of achievement. Students’ achievements from the expedition season over the last two years was shared which led to the presentation of six students with their Bronze DofE awards. They have showed their motivation and commitment throughout their journey all working on different activities. Finally, there was the celebration of three students who have completed their Gold award and attended the celebration event at Buckingham Palance gardens in the summer. It was a privilege to share their individual journeys overcoming challenges and achieving this top award. I am looking forward to seeing students this year continue working towards their awards.
