Year 10 Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Expedition

3rd–4th July Expedition!
Four of our Year 10 students—Tyler, Dexter, Jake, and Noah—embarked on their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh expedition, supported by our dedicated staff team.
The adventure began at Loco Park, where the group set off into the stunning countryside. Surrounded by nature, they spent the day walking, chatting, and sharing plenty of laughs to keep spirits high. Their route took them through scenic landscapes, ending the day near the golf course before heading to their campsite.
At camp, the students worked together to pitch their tents and cook their own meals—an important part of the DofE experience. As the evening settled in, they gathered around a campfire to enjoy s’mores and some well-earned relaxation. Staff members joined throughout the evening to entertain and support the group, giving the daytime team a chance to rest.
The following day, the group continued their journey through Little Eaton, finishing at Darley Abbey before returning to school—tired but proud of their achievement.
A huge well done to all students and staff involved for their teamwork, resilience, and fantastic effort!
