The Grand opening of the football pitch with a tournament and ex Aston Villa and Derby footballer Ian Taylor.

High Grange officially opened the football astro pitch with the cutting of the ribbon by our special guest, Ian Taylor.

Gavin Spicer our Principal said a few words before finally the ribbon cutting which signalled the start of our football tournament.

The tournament was played in a friendly, supportive and competitive afternoon and was a huge success.

We were joined by Northern House Solihull who bought along both Lower and Upper school football teams. The morning was a huge success and some fantastic football was played by all involved.

It was the first time our lower school students had taken part in an inter-school event and they all played in a supportive manor and the other school were fantastic sports.

The upper school game was played with positive attitudes and was thoroughly enjoyable to watch. All the students should be very proud of their successes and behaviour on the football pitch.

More pictures to follow next week.

Special thank you to our PE department for the organisation and Ian Taylor for giving up his time to open our astro pitch.
